Kick ass in heels!

Single, or not… This may be one of the most true statements to come out of Sex in the City. Being a woman is tough sometimes! We have all these standards in society, our monthly “buddy”, these boobs and parts that can REALLY be annoying! Of course, being the stronger sex ;) we face, defeat, and move on from any challenge… But it feel so good to be doing it in heels, you know?

Which brings me to one of my favorite parts of Christmas: Party Shoes. Finding that perfect pair of shoes to match your new gorgeous dress for the holiday parties…

Embracing your femininity, to me, means reading about amazing women in the past, finding that lip stick that makes you feel like Lana Turner, or just power-housing through your job/school/life and leaving all those who’ve doubted you in the dust. Also, embrace your body. Women are the most beautiful when you can look at them, and KNOW that they feel good in their own skin.

Here’s my list about how to embrace your sexy womanhood:

• Pick up Carmen Electra’s Aerobic Striptease. No, no! Give it a shot, really! It’s full of moves that will have you dancing to everything you hear.
• Read Stories of My Life, by Katharine Hepburn – one of the most amazing women ever. The first chapter will have you feeling like you’re talking with a best friend over martini’s in Manhattan.
• Go get yourself a mani-pedi (manicure & pedicure!). There are few things in life that are so cheap, but make you feel so hot.
• Buy yourself some beautiful lingerie. Put on some reading glasses with a cup of tea, and pretend that you’re a billionaire-genius who leads a life of luxury.
