Posted on 12.18.07 to Shoe Porn by LindsayThere are few things that I love more than shoes. But… Not all shoes are created equal. There are some absolutely horrendous designs out there (commercial and designer, alike), and some just barely brave the line between brilliant… and disaster.
However, Dr. Jays has some pumps that will easily have people wondering…
“Where did she get those fabulous heels?”
Here are some of my favorites:
Baby Phat’s Zoela Wedge is HOT! It’s got an adjustable chain with the little Baby Phat kitty logo you can either wear wrapped around the heel, or as a strap across the top of your foot. And the red + leopard combo is smoldering. Wear with a solid trench and jeans for an easy, sexy style. $79.98
oh…DEER! Praline Round Toe Pumps are just as hot as the color of leather which made them. They have a 3.5″ heel (totally manageable) an, if you’re into it, are totally on-trend for all this 1980′s flashback stuff. Even more manageable is the price: $48.99. Oh, dear!
I know I’ll get some flack for this one, but I love these shoes! Akademiks’ Mad Love Heels are a beautiful gold, red, black and white graffiti print over a peep toe that’s just luscious! I have a personal affinity for graffiti and street art in general, so these are right up my alley. For $55, all the nay-sayers may just have to get used to me strutting my stuff in these.
I think it’s important for a lady to have a pair of shoes that she just loves. Regardless of the current trend, or what her best friend thinks… Crazy or super-tame – you just have to love them. Once you achieve that, you’ll realize you can wear a potato sack if you just LOVE it – because it all shines through your body language, your smile, and your personality.
So go find that thing that makes you feel like a movie star… Feel that empowerment, then make sure everything you wear makes you feel the same way! If it doesn’t, it’s not worth it.
