diva in a carry on is looking for an intern.
who are you looking for?must be social networking skills and news aggregate savvy, be a wiz at CMS (blogger is the one we use), be a clever wordsmith, have excellent editing and proofreading skills, have a love of traveling light but well, and be willing to devote 2-3 hours a day to us.
what are the benefits?
we can’t pay you and if you live anywhere near new mexico you may be asked to help clean the cat’s litterbox. however, you’ll gain a good bit of insight into the blogging world and have the opportunity to rack up some pretty nice clips for your portfolio. do a good job and you get a great reference from the editor for your resume as well.
how do i get a cup of this kool-aid?
three things – send us a short resume including some of your writing experiences, send us a 300-word “post” written in the diva in a carry on style (this means you actually have to read the blog and take note of how we write and format – if you haven’t read the blog and/or you can’t figure out what our style is, don’t bother applying), and send us another 300-500 word intro telling us a little bit about you, what you can bring to the table and why you consider yourself a “travel-light diva”. we’ll accept word documents and PDFs only.
