Natalie Portman: The Fashionista’s Vegan
“As a vegan, it’s been challenging finding designer shoes made of alternative materials. This collection offers a great selection without compromising quality or style.”
As some of you more fashion-obsessed readers may already know, Natalie Portman has officially launched her first shoe line via major NY designer, Té Casan, and everything from heel to toe is 100% vegan.

I’ve looked over her prototypes and, I must say, VERY IMPRESSIVE! Gorgeous d’orsay heels, beautiful mary janes and perfect “Poppy” pumps are just a few of the darlings that grace her new collection. But, hey, I guess that’s what one can expect from a girl who took time off from her multi-million dollar movie star career to get one of those measly little degrees from some school called Harvard… It was just a degree in psychology, afterall. It’s not like she actually did anything with it (except assist research on “Frontal Lobe Activation During Object Permanence”, or “Enzymatic Production of Hydrogen”… Oh, wait…)
Seriously, guys. This woman is an amazing example of what women should be, in my opinion. Graceful, talented, driven, eloquent, educated and… well, damned good looking. She’s a huge inspiration to me, and probably always will be! (Did you know she was bilingual in english and hebrew?!) But I digress…
While her awesome vegan shoe line is still on some people’s cheap at $355 and under, it’s unfortunately not my cheap… But considering the motive, the maker and, well, the shoes themselves - I might have to splurge for this one. After all, 100% of the process are going to The Nature Conservancy!

Okay, so photos definitely aren’t easy to get - so I have just two teasers for you! The rest of the collection is easily viewed at Té Casan’s website (linked at the beginning of this post!):

The Pippa Mary Jane is $325, and sexy!

The Pia Ballet Flat is $185.
Think ’bout it!
xoxo.

I come to you for fashion deals, and what do you give me? Beautiful vegan shoes that cost as much as my end-of-year bonus. That’s just wrong.
<3
You’re right, though: these babies are very simple-sexy-chic, and likely worth every penny.
Why oh why can’t anyone make stylish affordable vegan shoes…I just might have to do that..
