The power went out last night due to an almost-windstorm, so according to my life, it’s September 19th, 2003, 11:47pm.

That’s likely not true… But I have to go with it, you know?

The windstorm (combined with massive amounts of Sigur Ros-listening) made me feel really windy, chilly, and snow-y. I decided it’s about time I pulled out my winter-colored clothes.

Grey Sweater Dress: Ross, $12

Silver Scarf: Gift from darling cousin, Andrea
Grey Suede Pumps: Nine West Outlet, $15

I can’t do wintertime without frosty eyes and red lipstick. I simply am unable to.

Eyeliner: Jane Mineral Gel Eyeliner in Wine, $5
Lipstick: Avon “Cranberry”, sample
Eyeshadow: Jesse’s Girl Eye Dust in ______ (um, the lightest, shiniest?), $2
Blush: Sephora Brand in Peach, $10, I think?

These shoes are so intense… I could never actually wear them during winter, so I have to just pretend. They were a SUPER bargain, though! I highly recommend outlet stores for name brand stuff. There are soft pleats on the toe of the shoe, and they’re pointy platforms! I can’t believe something that I got 3 years ago is still considered “trendy” - how fortunate!

In reality, the scarf is probably the only part of this outfit that would work if it were colder than, say, 60 degrees (which it currently isn’t). However, it’s good to get the practice runs in, right?
