It’s finally Friday after a week full of gigantic public speaking events (not great – but good experience), newspaper assignments, jam-session watching, and improvisational songwriting over libations and deck chairs (this week’s topic was “tarantula” – it was very interesting…).
Today is my first official day off, and I’ve got big expectations!
Take a long, hot shower!
I just got some more St. Ives Apricot Scrub, which is easily the best exfoliant for the body that I’ve ever used. And it smells awesome!
Listen to LOTS of The White Stripes
I can’t get ENOUGH of the new “Icky Thump” album. Maybe I’ll listen while I’m in the shower! That’s like two birds with one stone! Coooooonqueeeest!
Clean off my desk area
It’s just a mess. My week was so busy, my poor desk got treated like a waistbin-slash-storage bin. I’m sorry, desk!
Take a trip to Trader Joe’s!
Only my faaavorite food store ever! I plan to purchase the following:
- Pesto-filled Tortellini
- Some delicious fruit/veggie juices
- Soy-flaxseed chips – sounds weird, but you’d be surprised at how delicious they are!
- Roma Tomatos
- Fresh Basil
- Fresh Mozzarella
- Maybe a baguette?
- Baby spinach
- Broccoli & cauliflower (the only veggie Conor, my boyfriend, will eat besides carrots…oh -)
- Carrots & Carrot Juice
- & more! Can’t wait!
Join my Daddy for a Happy Hour
My Dad is my BEST friend and I haven’t seen him for almost a month! Whenever we can, Conor and I like to go sit on his deck with some drinks and stories.
We also have the first season of Arrested Development to watch tonight!
I have some BIG DREAMS for Friday!
