I’ve Seen the Light of “Long & Lean”

I used to watch every single What Not To Wear episode I possibly could. I’d watch Stacey London and Clinton Kelly tell every woman who crossed their path “You want to look tall”, “Extend the leg-line”, “Lean and long”, etc.

Being 5’6″, curvier than calligraphy and semi-body conscious has led me to avoid a lot of clothing in my life that I now am finding out would have absolutely worked, worked, and worked.

Case in point? I didn’t wear/own a single pair of fitted jeans until I was 15 years old. 15! Now-a-days, girls are getting their first pair of boot-cut jeans at 7.

But I digress. I’ve come across the most amazing pair of jeans I’ve owned… ever. There’s no stretch, there’s no crazy embellishments, there’s also no designer label which keeps my debit card happy.

Women: Long and lean jeans - crosshatch rinsed

GAP Long & Lean Jeans – Crosshatch Rinsed Wash

The crosshatch rinsed wash is currently $58 $29.99 on Gap.com

These jeans… are heavenly. My ass looks amazing, they’re a bit too long, so I can wear them perfectly with ~3 inch heels… The wash is gorgeous and dark. I can honestly say… I actually look long & lean in these miracle jeans.

While I love the rinse I have, the other ones are too good to pass up, too!

I love how casual and smooth the super faded rinse is… I’ll probably get those and have them altered and hemmed so I can wear flats with them. It’s a date!

xoxo.

Probably watching Netflix.
