I like to shop at salvation army and goodwill for their low, low prices.
The trick is goodwills in more expensive areas will have better stuff.
The most important rule is that you must browse through a lot of crap stuff to find something good.
I hope this helps!

Hello

I don't have much advice as far as buying clothing particularly on eBay, but for buying on eBay in general:

If the item that you want is listed in auction format, use an automated sniping service to place your bid. Hidbid.com, bidball.com, etc.

Try doing a misspelling search for the items that you are looking for. You can try the name of the item, the brand name, etc. and exclude words that just clutter up the results.
Typojoe.com has an eBay misspelling search tool - it is simple to use and there are directions on the site if needed.

If you want to send a seller a question about an item, do not click on the "Ask seller a question" link that is located on the item listing. Copy the seller's username, close your browser, open it back up and go to eBay and search for that seller, and then send them a question.
This way, there will be a little extra work involved if that seller wants to include the response they give you in the item description. You may be feel that this is a bit unethical, but it could lead to you saving.

Maybe search for 'lots' of the type of clothing that you want, purchase them with a friend, or maybe resell the items that you do not want, possibly making a profit.

Hi! First time commenter, actually just found your site earlier today. I like girl.anachronism.vintage - got an awesome vintage zebra print dress from them a few weeks ago for TWENTY DOLLARS! bittersweetstyles, and mousevoxvintage. You can get awesome results just for searching whatever you're looking for as well.
