Old Navy Gets a New Style
Posted on 03.01.08 to $50 and under, Updates by Lindsay
Old Navy has recently re-vamped it’s “super-cheap-and-boring-as-hell” style and has begun to debut some actually stylish pieces in their Spring collection. This can be attributed to the appointment of Todd Oldham (of MTV’s House of Style and Bravo’s Top Design fame) as Creative Director late last year.
Naturally, their safari-chic style is still going strong (personally, I can’t stand the whole “safari” trend, but some of the individual pieces I can handle), but have completely upped in quality since Oldham’s appointment.
On to the new:

Printed Belted Dress in Black Print
$29.50 $25.00
Perfect for defining a waist and pairing with flats for a daytime look. This dress also comes in a “Black Leopard” print.

Tie-Front Wrap Dress in Peppermint Green
$29.50
I love the pattern and the colors on this dress. It kind of has a classy Diane Von Furstenburg feel to it (with the wrap-style), and could easily go from work to evening cocktails. This dress also comes in Natural, and Black.

Tie-Front Tube Dress in Green
$29.50
All we’ve been hearing about all winter is how hot maxi-dresses are going to be come spring. This is a beautiful kelly green dress that rocks to the FLOOR. Wear with strappy flat sandals (like the ones below) for an easy spring outfit. This dress also comes in Pink tropical print and Black tropical print.

Embellished Patent T-Strap Sandals in White
$19.50
These work with dresses, jeans, shorts, swim suits – anything! The T-Strap sandal is perfect for spring, and is quickly becoming a necessity. Also comes in black, beauty queen pink, and garden snake green.

Safari Halter Top in Black
$19.50
I chose to ignore the “safari” title in the description and just admire the thin-strapped, structured halter for what it is – adorable. Also comes in indian clay (which is a dusty maroon).
Go check out some more of Old Navy’s new stuff!
What do you think of ON’s new style?
xoxo.
