The Pink Dress Gets Another Chance

Prior to the fall/winter season of 2008, the pink dress got a bad rap. Either it was Betsey Johnson and therefore kitschy, or it was ultra-Lolita and immature to don a petal-pink dress – particularly during spring.
But now that the plants are dying and the temperature’s dropping, pink is conditioning itself for another go, and it looks to be working. Pink, particularly of the pale variety, is making its way onto “Must Have” lists left and right.

I’m not too crazy about pale pink; I prefer a more saturated or even hot pink hue. I like wearing hot pink with dark denim or black and white. It’s just such a cheery punch of colour!
