In a season wherein we examine the idea of “guilt” from every perspective, a little easy-free shopping feels really, really good.
I received an email from Staci at Mapel screaming (adorably) “USE YOUR STORE CREDIT!” While I knew that Mapel had wicked inventory, I’ve been in a period for the last month or so of “I don’t… need anything”, which has kept my bank account and my closet honest. But I’m interested in having my cake and eating it too, so a-shopping I went.
I had heard of a new independent line that hit Mapel’s racks a few days before, Champagne Lace, so I thought I’d peek at it.
Glad I did.
Store credit: gone.
There’s a really subtle sexiness in sheer, embellished t-shirts that I really, really like. It’s a little gritty, but also elegant. Wonderful contrast.

The little ferret inside my head just squealed with envy. Not only does that shirt look amazingly comfortable, BUT it has sequins (or is it metal hoops?). Such a good choice!
