Daily Outfit: Cozy & Poorly Photographed
Posted on 09.03.09 to $50 and under, Outfits by LindsayI was just running out the door when I took this photo, and didn’t realize that I’d completely chopped off my head (which is fine, there wasn’t anything exciting going on up there, anyway).
There are definitely a couple of newbie-clothes in this outfit! Firstly, I’m wearing some amazing jeans I received from Thimbler… More on that later (keep checking The Demoiselles if you’re interested in these things: custom, under $100, high quality). I didn’t feel like buttoning my trench coat (still with me all these years later! – Okay, maybe just one year.) so I just left it open and tied the belt for shape… Then I got annoyed by all the flipping and flapping of my favorite scarf (thanks, Mommy!) so I tucked in the ends and was shocked that it didn’t look immediately stupid.
The shoes, actually, have been around for about 1.5 years, but haven’t ever made it past the socks’n'shoes test of ’09. They can actually be worn with clothes, too! Shocking, I know.
To be honest, I have no idea what I’m wearing underneath the trench. It’s half scary, half sexy, right?
