As Broke & Beautiful’s first themed week, Earth Week, comes to a close, I’d like to present a list of forward-thinking websites that will keep you comfortably clothed in the best, most affordable, highest quality eco-friendly fashions and accessories.

This list has been compiled with the help of many people, but the biggest thanks go to the people who run these brilliant websites, and continue to offer safer, more ethical shopping choices to the internet public.

Fashion “Department” Stores

“Department” stores have men’s, women’s, and maybe children’s clothing available. Mostly manufactured clothing. Possibly housewares and crap, too.

Handmade/Indie Meccas

A Category All Their Own

JumpGauge is a site that evaluates products based on their “green” status. JumpGauge interactive labeling shows green qualities of a product visually and allows a user to find out more about green attribute. You can search by sustainability rating, products made in the USA, water-saving rating, USDA approved products, and more.

xoxo!
