“Hamptonsy” Hats

Posted on 04.06.09 to $50 and under by Lindsay

Have you seen little Jane of Sea of Shoes donning a big, floppy-brimmed hat lately? Well, she has and it’s… kind of cute, I think. I’m still processing it.

And the title? I don’t know what the exact name of the hat is, but it looks Hamptons-y.

Anyway, if you like it, you can get one for $15 from $15DollarStore.com (surprising, eh?)!

It’s not the fancy American Apparel brand for $40, but for reference, here’s what that looks like:

Hmm!

xoxo.

Jane looks amazing as usual! Wish I could pull off hats.

I’m not sure how I feel about it yet, either…especially now that I have bangs.

(That’s better than my usual “bad trend, hate it!” reaction, right?)

You could always pin your bangs back? I think it’d be cute on you! =D

I always think of JLo back in her Ben Affleck-dating days when I see these hats, just because she would wear them with huge shades while dodging paparazzi.

Love this floppy hat style – so ’70s. Great prices here, too! xx

Makes me think of J. Lo back in the day.

I love the look but I think I look so weird in hats. I don’t have the face or the hair (I think it needs) for it.
