I’m Faboo. (And so are you?)

Birdie awarded me a blog award! It’s called… Your blog is fabulous! How appropriate, no?

I’m ever-so honored to be awarded anything from Miss Birdie, as her blog, Bonne Vie, is constantly a source of inspiration and entertainment for me. I a tres humbled.

Now I get to pass this on to 10 of my favorite blogs. I’m subscribed to about 250, so narrowing will be difficult… But I think I can manage.

Atlantis Home – I so admire Judy Aldridge’s sense of style, not to mention her grace and laidback attitude. She’s amazing.

Designboom – Not fashion related, but this website is always making my jaw drop by revealing new innovative designs… I live for it. And they post often, so there’s always something to get your mind reeling.

Agent Lover – Marie is… my queen. I’ve never met her, never talked to her, and yet I admire her so, so very much. She’s saucy, sassy and unapologetically herself, which is basically my definition of “perfect.”

This Is Star – I know I’ve been hyper-linking (ba dum TSH) Star lately, but my adoration of her talent, aesthetic, and brain grows exponentially, so why not?

Clutch22 – I just “met” this girl, and found out that she is friends with two girls I’ve known almost my whole life! Aside from that, her blog is SUPER informative in the fashion-arena, and the girl knows how to dress.

Karla’s Closet – More envy-love goes out to Karla, whose wardrobe I completely covet, and whose style is so original and adventurous, yet totally chic.

H Y S T E R I C Girl – This girl is OUT OF CONTROL in the best way. If you ever thought that maybe you just had too much going on to make an outfit look “okay”, check out this girl’s getups – which look totally amazing. She’s the queen of inspiration!

Cherry Blossom Girl – I don’t really even need to explain why she’s on my list. Just go look, if you haven’t.

Eliza Gauger – I’ve been following this girl’s creeped-out, amazing, detailed, expressive art for years (literally), and was utterly excited when she got a blog. You can see updated art pieces, and some of her wonderful inspiration sources. (Also an awesome Seattle girl.) She also wins the award for best designed website EVER. Totally feeds my childhood DOS-geekiness.

An amazing piece by Eliza; “Diaspora” in progress

Jak & Jil – If you follow the fashion of magazine editors or the publication industry at all, you’ve likely heard (and become addicted to) Jak & Jill. Amazing street style photographs of the glossy elite.

Well, those are my 10! I’m not really into the idea of “pass it on! Woo!”, but if you want to, go for it. I just want you all to know you’re appreciated. Awww.

xoxo.
