I’m Wearing: Fancy Coffee Garb

Sometimes, you wake up on a Tuesday morning, catch up on all your blogs, and then… You’re kind of left with nothing.

Fortunately, I’ve always been pretty good at making my own fun/content/mistakes/catalysts, so what would be better than dressing up simply to walk three blocks to the coffee shop?

I can’t think of anything – and I didn’t, so here it is!

Not sure what my facial expression is supposed to be in that one, but it only REALLY looks bizarre when you zoom, which I’ve completely prevented you from doing. Neener.

How amazing is this dress? I’m totally obsessed with the neckline. It’s a little bit lacking in the waist-definition arena, hence the firm hands-on-waist pose, but otherwise it’s really adorable. The hemline is kind of strange, so I’ve been thinking of making it into a top of some kind and ridding myself of the temptation to wear it as a too-short dress. (PS – Can you tell I’m being notably more saucy in the right photo? Interesting how that works!)

It’s 34 degrees, so this plus the trenchcoat kept me pretty warm. After looking at the photos, though, I’ve decided I need some more seriously-opaque tights. Get that denier up, baby!

These shoes are AMAZING. They were the only 9.5 left in a Marshall’s Shoe Megashop when I went, and they fit me PERFECTLY, are super comfortable, and were ultra, ultra cheap.
