Posted on 07.09.09 to $50 and under by Lindsay

Today, I’m talking about onsies, rompers, jumpsuits, short-suits… You know, the lightning-fast trend that’s taken over summer? That’s the one.

Over at The Demoiselles, Jennifer Nicole and I have been researching the current state of the romper and… well, you might be surprised at our findings!

I wanted to dig up some Elle-approved rompers for B&B because, while we sure do talk a lot about clothes on TD, but we don’t currently show you many, so I figured – hey, why not do it here?

Right?

So here are some delicious, budget-friendly, summer-tastic rompers for you to go a-romping in.

Aqua Sleeveless Criss Cross Romper

Striped Romper
Charlotte Russe Striped Romper

Aerie by American Eagle Summer Romper

I still fear rompers, but that Rampage version is actually pretty cute! A little fitted, instead of loose and blousy …

I love the look of the draping on the first romper you featured. Like Sal, I haven’t taken the plunge with rompers just yet, but I have to admit they’re starting to grow on me.

I know exactly how you guys feel… One week ago I was cringing at them. But being forced to stare at them and study them for a week has made me fall in love!

I just wrote a blog about the reinvented romper craze too. I still haven’t decided what I think about them. I think that maybe my chest is maybe too big for them or something. Have you found any that look good on more voluptous figures? I didn’t have much luck…

@Styleology Good call! I’m interested to see if they work for larger busted girls… I figure that Jen and I are the perfect women to try! Hahaha. We’re both DD!
