I’ve been on a hot search for a certain pair of made-for-summer-fun shoes ever since I saw them on the feet of NYLON Magazine‘s Fashion Editor, Rajni Lucienne Jacque, in one of their January ’09 fashion features “P.S. I love shoes“, where the editor unleashed her “around 424” pairs of shoes, and the fierce addiction behind them.
At first, I was disheartened… I figured that, if I were the editor of an ultra-popular glossy, I’d be hard pressed to avoid the Marni wedges and go for the cheap (but effective!) Nine West.
Then, my my hopes slowly began filling with shoe-laden helium as I read this line:
“Any style (sneakers, platforms, ballet flats, moccasins, oxfords, and boots); any designer (from high-end labels like Chloe to affordable lines like Steve Madden, and even the bargain stores, such as Forever 21) – everything is fair game.”
COULD IT BE? Could these shoes that I so covet really be under $450, $150 and $60? Oh, please, please, please…
So I send you on this mission, amazing bargain (hopefully) hunting fashion folk: WHO MAKES THESE SHOES? I’ll be dutifully scouring all my favorite shoe sites searching, searching.
Help a sister out!
