I have a bone to pick with shoe manufacturers and designers everywhere: you’re neglectful. You have been mostly ignoring one of the most important parts of a shoe: the heel. This is no joke! Poochie of Shoe Daydreams once told me that, given her obsession with shoes in general, heel shape was “kinda her thing,” and I can completely see why. Unfortunately, 95% of shoe designers do the same, old, boring things with shoe heels that everyone else does.

I am a person who is generally passive when it comes to seeking attention for fashion choices, so the idea of doing something badass in a way that isn’t necessarily being shoved down people’s throats is really attractive. What better place to show off than your heels?
