Monday Wedgie: Strawberry Fields

This is the Strawberry Fields Wedge. I have been eating strawberries for the last week, straight – making parfaits, making oatmeal, making pancakes, making strawberry bread… It’s already summer in the Seattle area and damnit, Global Warming, I’m not going to let you bring me down! I am going to enjoy the nice parts of you and hope that makes you less likely to smite us in the future… Think positive, Global Warming!

We got the tip off on these wedges from our friend Jennifer (#2), and have completely become enamored with how much summertime¬†energy they exude! I mean, even the stitching on the bow looks like the texture of strawberry skin (the stitches being the tiny seeds on the outside), and the raffia wedge just makes me think of the baskets I used to use when I went strawberry picking as a kid. It doesn’t hurt that this wedge is my absolute favorite¬†strap style – not quite an ankle strap & not quite a mary jane! Not only is it the most universally flattering for legs (in my opinion), but it’s also the most comfortable!

Probably watching Netflix.

First off I would like to say fantastic blog! I had a quick question in which I’d like to ask if you do not mind. I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your mind prior to writing. I’ve had difficulty clearing my thoughts in getting my ideas out there. I do enjoy writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be wasted simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any ideas or hints? Thanks!
