Not just this morning, but every morning for the past two weeks. Getting out of bed has become a sordid game of Lava Monster, and the fewer strategically-placed steps I take, the more freezing cold hardwood floor I won’t have to touch with my bare feet.
We’re about three weeks into the chill of Real Winter, and I’m already kinda over it. Every year, I approach this season as if I’d been living in the Carribbean all my life, completely & blissfully unaware and unprepared for the coming colder season.
So I’m shelving my wedges and sandals (in my mind) and turning towards some winter-friendly flats that can lead me into the frigid season without too much of a style sucker-punch.
