Have you tried one? One of the midi-skirts? No, seriously. You should. You will love everything about yourself, guaranteed. The top hits at your narrowest point which makes you butt look kind of ridiculous-amazing, plus if the skirt hits at your knees (another narrow point), you instantly have this pin-up-esque figure that will definitely make you walk different – now with 150% more ass-swaying.
I have a plain black midi skirt similar to this one from Leith, and it’s perfect in most ways… Except on the days where I don’t want to have anything to do with black (or any other neutral) and am craving envious looks from my gay, male baristas. (They love pastels, ok?)
Look how crazy/awesome/fractal this print is! It’s so busy that it’s almost a neutral, with the tonal blues and super-light pastels. It looks like a high-waist midi skirt… from the future.
