First of all, SORRY I’M LATE if you care. I don’t really, and neither do you, probably – right? Glad we got that out of the way.

I got cold for the first time this morning. Yeah, cold, like shivering and running for my jacket. Not cool, weather. (I mean, technically yes, but figuratively no.) Whatever. Thanks to tights and faux leather _____, I’m totally not threatened by your dropping temperatures. Despite the fact that getting out of the shower and having it be cold makes me want to hide in a closet with a space heater for three months. Worst. Feeling. Ever. Worse than the feeling you get when you’re trying to be cool and outdoorsy to impress your friends so you walk around barefoot and you obviously step on a slug. Yeah. Worse than that. I don’t even know what exaggerating is.

On to the links!

The before & after features on Design*Sponge are so freaking inspiring, sometimes. I love this wood wall and the difference between the two is astounding! See the rest of their home makeover on D*S!

So, WhoWhatWear released a list of 20 bloggers that you omg have to know right now holy crap, and that’s really cool and everything, except for the part where every once of those bloggers was literally covered in high-end designer clothing. Sorry, bro, that’s not for me. There are tons of bloggers who are doing a damn good job with a limited budget and I wish they made it into lists like these more frequently. (I should probably make a list of the best ones, eh? Part of the solution!, etc.)

I really love these Goat + Kettle rings made from vintage keys. Good idea! And affordable at ~$35 each.

The Armani Prive 2013 Couture collection was dark & feminine. Budget Babe recreates the looks with pieces that don’t make you choose between fashion & rent.

I love all this moon-inspired stuff that the ladies at Haute Macabre dug up. Etsy is a beautiful place.

Holy crap, this dining room makeover from Dream Book Design makes me want to buy a house just so I can remodel something and make it look half as awesome as this.

Burma/Myanmar is literally at the top of my list of places to visit. I’ve wanted to go for years and years, and Sarah of Yes and Yes just published a really awesome travel guide (written by Laura) that makes my wanderlust go c-r-a-z-y.

Lady-nerd-shamers, beware! This babe-tastic, pink-haired lioness just put you in your place via GIF.

I am not a fan of spiders. Not. But this image is awesome. (Source – if you have a better one, let me know!)

Nina Simone is one of my favorite musicians, and i came across her performance of “Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood,” which was a song written specifically for her Nina in 1964.

I could watch her perform forever.

This is the hidden track off of Cold War Kids’ “Robbers & Cowards” record. It’s called “Sermons vs. The Gospei” and I’ve been having sudden, intense needs to listen to it throughout the week. It’s the yell-singing. I love it.

Leave ’em if you got ’em.

Probably watching Netflix.
