Nanette Lepore used to be my #1 search target when I started this blog almost six years ago. I have been in love with her designs and fantastical girly-ness for years. Recently having launched a collaboration with JCPenney (or am I supposed to call them “jcp.” now?), I’m thinking that our chance to join the Nanette Lepore party is upon us.

L'Amour Nanette Lepore for JCP: with her daughter, a model, and Vanessa Hudgens

L’Amour Nanette Lepore x JCPenney

Nanette Lepore’s vision materialized in the hue of neon for her latest collection – nary a black pant to be found. (Unless you count these leggings.) (Or these bedazzled hotpants?) In their place, you’ll find some more psychedelic staples, such as radioactive-pink jeggings, highlighter-yellow, sleeveless blouses, and neon-peach, empire waist tops a-plenty.

Nanette Lepore Amour for JCP

Lepore says that the collection was inspired by her 14-year-old daughter and is geared to shoppers in the 13-19 year old range – but I’m looking at some of these hi-lo tunics and sleeveless tops and thinking that we might be able to fudge the demographics a little bit.

The line is available online – right now, as a matter of fact! – at JCPenney’s website, and the prices are between $17 and $50. The line includes several things that I didn’t show off to you here, including this bralette, a $50 motorcycle jacket, and tons of gorgeous basics & separates.

What do you think of the collection?

Probably watching Netflix.
