This year seems to be the year of No Holds Barred patterns. You know shit is weird when a Bart Simpson patterned dress gets over 3,000 likes on Lookbook.
If I put my serious-hat on, I can safely say that this is not elegant. There is nothing tasteful or graceful or classy about and of it… But then I take my serious hat off and remember that fashion is supposed to be fun, and you don’t have to leave the house every day as though you were about to walk down the Project Runway stage, you know?
That being said, I’ll be self-releasing my own sex tape with Gary Busey before you catch me in a Bart Simpson dress. We all have our limits.

I think this style can be broken down into three levels of intensity: Tame, More Flashy, and I Really Don’t Care. The latter of which, of course, referencing the number of f@#ks you give about how flashy you are on a daily basis. No shame! Everyone has their own level (and may experience all three in one week – I speak from experience.)
Tame
You want to play, but you don’t want to be the diva at the party. This dress is good for when you are feeling sassy but are very hungover.
