Many of you know I have a great love for burlesque & showgirls. I was a burlesque photographer for many years, and still love the art! I’m lucky to live in Seattle, where we have such amazing performers as Sydni Deveraux (who also writes Veggie Powered Stripper and recently left us for NYC – good luck, girl!), Miss Indigo Blue who runs The Academy of Burlesque downtown, The Atomic Bombshells and our own La Petite Mort (read her articles here)!

Still love Lorde. Still listen to her album Pure Heroine at least three times per week. Still in love with this photo from her shoot with Tom Munro in Vogue March 2014.

ART: Leonid Tishkov Travels The World With His ‘Private Moon’

“The moon is a shining point that brings people together from different countries, of different nationalities and cultures – and everyone who gets in its orbit does not forget it ever. it gives fairytale and poetry in our prosy and mercantile world,” Leonid writes. “The moon helps us to overcome our loneliness in the universe by uniting us around it.”
