Let’s take a trip down memory lane for a second. Remember how amazing leather midi skirts are?

They’re kind of the best, right? They flow easily from season to season, add a BAMF vibe to whatever you’re wearing but ultimately keep you in the “appropriate attire” category due for everything from work to drinks to dates thanks to their conservative shape. I like my poodle skirts with a side of dominatrix.

I’ve been eyeing this pleated, faux leather skirt at Macy’s for the last week and for some reason, it never seems to run out of stock despite being marked down to $21.99 from $70.*

Grace Elements Pleated Faux Leather Skirt in Tan

This is the Grace Elements Faux Leather Pleated Skirt in Toasted Coconut Brown. What a refreshing alternate to “tan” – toasted coconut. My toasted coconut usually has a lot more stark white spots with black dots, but who knows, that might make a cute skirt, too. What I really need to tell you instead of talking about coconut is that there are three other colors.

In addition to Grandma’s Dinner Plates Brown, this cute skirt also comes in black, deep merlot red, and dark olive green.

Personally, I feel like these high-waisted midi skirts were put on this planet to form an unbreakable relationship with crop tops. I can’t help it, I think they look amazing together and flattering on almost every body type. I am not a stomach-shower, but when a high-waist skirt is involved, there’s no reason to be scared because you’re ’bout to look bangin’.
