Maybelline BOGO 50% Off At Ulta Beauty This Week

All week long, Ulta is having some incredible sales on affordable beauty brands. In fact, they’re having so many that putting them into the Gift Card Week after-Christmas sale post would have been overwhelming, so they’re getting their own post. This week (until 12/31/16), you can score with the buy one, get one 50% off deal for all Maybelline products. The other amazing deals are at the bottom of the post, if you’re looking to compound your budget beauty loot.

I have quite a few Maybelline products in my makeup kit, and they’re all represented in this Ulta Beauty sale. Here are the Maybelline beauty products I recommend picking up in the sale:

Maybelline Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Concealer, $8.99

I use this as a general concealer, but it really is great for under eye discoloration and darkness. One thing I will say about this concealer: remove the sponge tip. It’s seriously one of the least hygienic things you could put on a makeup product. It comes off easily and dispenses the product through a small tube. Still totally easy to use, and way less icky.

Maybelline Fit Me! Matte + Poreless Foundation, $7.99

Sadly, I picked this up in the wrong shade when I tried it. It oxidizes a little bit, so buy the shade based on the lighter end of your complexion and you should be safe. The finish on this is really beautiful, and it got great reviews across the drugstore beauty community. This is good for slightly oily skin as it leaves a really nice, matte finish behind. If I ever get tan, which is unlikely, I’ll be whipping this foundation out and bathing in it.

Maybelline Great Lash Waterproof Mascara, $5.99

It wouldn’t be a Maybelline post without some Great Lash mascara. This classic has been in lists of makeup favorites for actual decades. It’s consistent, reliable, and best of all – waterproof.

Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo Cream Eyeshadows and Metal Cream Eyeshadows, $6.99

I love these Color Tattoo Cream Eyeshadows. I have the entire Leather collection, which is no longer available, and a select few others. These have staying power like no other cream eyeshadow I’ve tried. They are also great as a base for glitter or duochrome eyeshadows. The metallic formulas are mousse-y and luxurious, but be sure to keep the lid on really tight, otherwise they’ll dry out. They can be revived, but it’s a major pain in the ass. They can also be used as liner with a good liner brush!

Maybelline Ultra Liner Waterproof Liquid Liner, $7.99

This eyeliner ended up in my kit thanks to a recommendation from a girlfriend. I was hesitant to try it out, but when I couldn’t find my beloved NYC liquid eyeliner and had just finished up an Urban Decay 24/7 liner (my non-drugstore favorite), I was forced to. It has the brush tip that I prefer, which is a slim, bristle brush, and the application was pretty easy. This isn’t a perfect liquid eyeliner by any means, but in a pinch, it’s a total lifesaver.

Maybelline The Falsies Volum Express Waterproof Mascara, $6.99

I’m not kidding when I say I bought this specifically to wear on election day. Regardless of what happened, I knew I was going to need waterproof mascara. After hearing glowing reviews about the original, non-waterproof The Falsies mascara, I had to try it. The brush is really bendy, and your eyelashes are enough to cause the wand to bend, which really digs the mascara into the root of your lashes. I’m pretty impressed with this, especially as a waterproof mascara, but it’s definitely easy to overdo it and end up looking like clump-monster.

Maybelline The Blushed Nudes Eyeshadow Palette, $9.99

Okay, real talk: I don’t own this. But if you’ve ever looked at a certain palette whose name rhymes with Bartlette Bin Bloom, you’ll want to take a look at The Blushed Nudes from Maybelline. There are such pretty shades of pink and purple and plum in this palette, and it has good shades for highlighting and deepening, too. The sponge applicators are garbage, but the palette is worth a shot!
