I don’t think many people consider Levi’s to be a “luxury brand.” After all, they’re the American blue collar denim of choice! Jeans for the every-man! (Every-woman?) A lot of people might be shocked to discover that the denim jackets that seem like a ubiquitous part of every generation… cost like $200.
When you think about it, it makes sense. These jean jackets are built to last for decades. They have denim pants all over the price map so it’s only natural that their jackets, which have arguably more complex construction, would be more expensive.

At Macy’s, you’ll find a ton of Levi’s brand items on sale, but I’m beelining for the jackets. Why? Because some of the really good ones are upwards of 50% off. That’s a big deal when you’re talking about a potential forever jacket.
My favorite are the trucker jackets and anything with a sherpa lining. It’s hard to go wrong with denim + Levi’s when it comes to jackets, though. I had that faux leather trucker jacket listed in my ShopTagr for a few weeks, and had it set to notify me of any price changes (as opposed to 10% or more, 25% or more, etc.). When the notification email showed up, I definitely didn’t expect to see 60%+ off inside!
(And that’s before the 10% cash back that you get when you use Ebates at Macy’s!)
