The annual CFDA Awards were held last night in the New York Public Library, inviting all designer, celebrity and the influential crowd to dress to the nines with a slight casual flare… It is, after all, in a public library.
The star of the night was definitely white hot outfits, ranging from knee-length frocks (Famke Janssen) to sleek satin gowns (SATC author, Candace Bushnell) to classic gowns (Eva Mendes) all the way over to crisp, white suits (Carolina Herrera).
It’s undeniable that, when you get your first summer tan (for non-irish folks, anyway), the most flattering thing you can possible do is put cool, white, summer fabrics near it, slenderizing and making your skin glow.
