Selfishly, I’ve had questionable luck when it comes to receiving gifts of apparel on Christmas… From great things like amazing scarfs and a great sweater, to really, um, such worrysome pieces as a courderoy leopard-print sports jacket.
Oh, excuse me, stretch courderoy. Mhm.
So I want to know about YOUR luck and your giving habits: Are you comfortable buying loved ones gifts of apparel, or do you stick to the tried and true gift certificate to do the hard work for you?

I buy clothing for boyfriends and my brother because I know their taste and they trust mine. (It also doesn't hurt that I know their sizes!) However, I'm really bad at shopping for clothing for female gift recipients. Either I'll want something for myself, or I'll buy something that's more my taste than the recipient's. Eee!

Hahaha, I love you.
Accessories - yes, especially jewelry for close friends, when I think I know their style pretty well. But clothing? Only for a boyfriend...

I'm a practical gift giver...I prefer to give clothes to my family, provided, of course, I know their size and their general taste (in colors, cuts, lengths, etc...)...
I don't really buy clothes for the male side of my family (exception is my husband, but he mainly gets tshirts) because they prefer video games, but the women in my family get something cute and sweet...my little sister gets excited every time I have a gift for her...
And I don't limit special days for clothing gifts either...if I see something in my mom's size or my little sister's size and I have the money, I do pick it up for them and bring it home...99.9% of the time, they love it...
