I have a really great addiction to campy article titles, so please, forgive me.
Another one of my New Year’s Fashion Resolutions was to try a pair of [tag]oxford booties[/tag].
For many years, I’ve been anti-[tag]ankle bootie[/tag], which I may have mentioned in my Shake Yo’ Booties! article a few weeks ago. But with the introduction of the opaque tight/mini-dress trend, I’ve been sold.
As you may well know, not all booties are created equal. There are [tag]ankle boots[/tag] that are not “[tag]oxford[/tag]”. Many sip up the side, have some sort of strap, or are just plain. Oxfords typically lace-up to the an inch or so past the toes, or all the way up to the ankle. In my opinion, they’re much classier and refined, but still hold a quirky, funky vibe.
So, in respect of my resolve, here are some fantastic booties for just a pinch of cash.
So I’ll sit here and drool over these until next payday when I’ll finally walk the bootie plank and buy a pair. Which ones do you like? What should I buy?
xoxo!

I love the two in the top right corner. They seem the simplest and most traditional/true to oxford style which, in my opinion, would be an easier first step into ankle-bootdom.
I'm going to stop making up words now.
I like the three brown ones. I actually bought a pair of black, patent, Steve Madden, lace-up ankle boots a while ago, but have only worn them a hand full of times.
