Today was not one of my best days (as most of my Twitter gals know – sorry ladies!). I wasn’t synced with anyone, communication-wise – I felt like my head was all cottonwool and foggy. I responded poorly to most people, unintentionally, and overall just kind of sucked at life today. And I didn’t have my car available to drive me to the nearest shopping establishment to help wipe away the blues. It’s a surefire solution to any bad day, and this is the first day I didn’t have it. Poo.
While I know tomorrow’s another day to try again, I may as well use this mopey time to create the only thing my fuzzy little head knows how to when I’m like this: A Massive Wishlist.
If I can’t drive off to the wonderland that is retail shops, I can at least park my pajama-clad butt in front of the computer and whisk my mind off that which ails me.
My first stop is usually one of my favorites: Smart Bargains
August Silk Short Sleeve Silk Blend T-Neck Top
$58 $29.99
This would be PERFECT until a sleeveless dress.
Suzi Chin Matte Jersey Keyhole Dress
$158 $79.99
BCBGMAXAZRIA Knit Top w/Chiffon Sleeve
$138 $39.97
I’m really digging voluminous half-sleeves lately. Good way to cover up arms without being too… covered?
Lolita Lempicka 3.4 oz Eau de Parfum Spray
$80 $59.99
They have such good deals… I feel better already.
Next stop: Bluefly
Then, we head to Steve Madden
Steve only has summer shoes on sale right now, unfortunately… But hey! With a little creative legging- or tights-work, they’ll be perfect for fall and winter.
“KAPTURE” in Natural Leather
$89.95 $39.99
“PASCHA” in White Patent Leather
$89.95 $39.99
Sadly, that’s all they had that wasn’t blatantly summer appropriate. Oh well! Onward…
Last stop, ULTA Beauty
Physician’s Formula Baked Collection Wet/Dry Eyeshadow
$7.59
I’ve been wanting to try this stuff forever. I love all of Physician’s Formula, but they’re on the pricey side at most drug stores… And trying them all would be worlds past what I ought to be spending, really. (It’s even cheaper at Ulta than on PF’s site!)
Neutrogena Healthy Skin Enhancer
$11.89 $9.89 (plus, buy 1, get 1 50% off!)
I’ve been using this stuff for about a month… And I absolutely LOVE it. I have really sensitive skin (it’s allergic to everything), so I’m constantly concerned about all-over face products, but this one is amazing. It has great coverage, leaves my skin really smooth and soft… And best of all, DOES NOT come off on my clothing! It’s a dream.
ULTA Ultimate Pout SPF 15
$2.50
I’ve decided that this winter will be my red lips winter. I’ve never been brave enough to try a strong red lip, but the time has come! Plus, how can you beat that price?
Smashbox Cream Eye Liner Palette
$32
I know the price is ridiculous… But for the amount of colors and the quality that I know exists in Smashbox products – I think it just may be worth it.
Sigh… I feel so much better. It wasn’t quite as good as the actual “window shopping” experience, but it’ll get me through the night.
What’s on YOUR wishlist right now?
xoxo.

Poor you - way to deal with those blues for cheap-as-free.
Sal´s last blog post was Reader Request: Accessorize Me TOO!!
A pair of riding boots. They are on the very tip top of the list. Oh also Jaqua Buttercream lotion.
Monique´s last blog post was What’s On Your Christmas List?!
I love the Smashbox eyeliners too, but the Loreal HIP cream eyeliners are AS GOOD for a fraction of the price. Look for the buy one get one free sales at CVS
Donna´s last blog post was PINK LACE EARRINGS!
Try ebay for the smashbox liner - I got mine there for approx €12 - its brilliant and it has a little brush that is very usable!
