SAG Dress Trends: Winter White, Grey & Blue

So this year’s SAG Awards actually had people attend! Who knew that’d be so exciting someday?

While there were a rainbow of colors present, the most stunning were the ice-princess color trio of white, grey, and chilly blue.

Ellen Pompeo wears a silver-grey velvet Nina Ricci dress… It’s such a new, yet classic look. I don’t know that shimmery velvet has hit the runway in years… But she looks amazing.

Ashley Tisdale looks way older than she is in Badgley Mischka Couture. Blondes in white will never get old for me. I love the princess-style seaming in the dress, too. So simple, yet really, really glamorous.

Amanda Bynes looks amazing in her teal Marchesa dress. It’s about time she pulled her damn hair away from her face – who knew she had ears!? I love the color and the draping.

America Ferrera is wearing a grey, lacey Monique Lhullier dress that makes her look super tall and statuesque. Notice the one shoulder dress action! Who called it?

Some people seem to think that once Christmas is over, there’s no more winter. Wrong! We have two more entire months of winter! Plenty of reasons to wear gorgeous winter-y colors like the ones above… Click the “read more” link to see some dresses on the cheap!

Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent Ruffle Front Dress
$205.00 $61.50

This is a STEAL, you guys! It’s a cute little mini-dress with a little bit of shimmery-gold against the beautiful blue. I love how the model is wearing it – so easy! The ruffle is cute, too!

T-Bags Solid Open Back Mini Dress$190.00 $57.00

Another steal. This dress has a BEAUTIFUL open back, and comes in both “Slate” and “Midnight”, a deep grey and a deep blue color. There’s also a pine green color that’s beautiful, too – but that’s another post.

BCBGMAXAZRIA white stretch poplin bib dress162.00 $74.99

This is a really sweeeeeet little dress. It’s got a little bib on it with mini-ruffles that would look adorable underneath a cardigan. OR, if you wanted to take it out, you could put some black tights underneath with some platform heels, and layer on the necklaces for a sexy, old-timey look.

Design History grey jersey embroidered dress$100.00 $49.99

White, gold, silver… All blended together in a cute, sleeveless keyhole dress. I really like the structured top of the dress, and the a-line, draped skirt… LOVE.

Try out these colors for winter. Dust on some light eyeshadow, some irridescent, keep your lips nude, and give yourself a blush-flush – totally radiant!

xoxo.
