What is this? Go on, tell me.
Did you say ring? Bracelet? Napkin ring? Well, it’s not a ring, much less a napkin ring, but instead a FUMI purse hook. Remember those? They burst on to the scene a few years ago, and people started raving… Well, they’ve released a new version of their bag-saving accessory that doubles as a bracelet, folks. This is true innovation. Plus, who doesn’t like to support a family-owned and operated company?

Now, I’ve never used a purse hook, nor ached for something to keep my purse off the floor (purse hatred may be at fault here), but I have to say… I’m intrigued. The FUMI comes in many different styles, and is made from 100% recycled materials.

Of course I would never have it on me at the right time though!
When I was in the UK it would have been handy for those times you're at a really high bar table & don't want to put your bag on the floor. They sometimes have their own table hooks but this too would be handy.

That is so interesting. I've never used, or felt the need to use, a purse hook, but these look quite good and the fact that they could also be used as a bracelet is quite cool.

I use my purse hook all the time! Every time I do I get compliments and questions about it. I seem to carry hobo type bags and they son't go on chairs so well. These are cute, but I'd wear it as a bracelet mostly.
Yes, yes, yes. I just started using one and wish I'd done so a long time ago. Once you do, you don't want to put that purse on the floor again. I paid about $11.95 for mine; it's very pretty and has its own little carry pouch.
The first time I saw purse hooks I was definitely intrigued, but I don't think I'd use one. It's just one extra thing to carry, and usually I find a way of keeping my purse off the floor anyway (e.g. on my chair, in my lap).

Oh yes, I have one from that site and giving another one away right now as part of a giveaway. So helpful to take a break from the purse on the lap bit! The old school ones are cheaper too (I think) but these ones as a bracelet is genious! :-)
