You may have been noticing my sartorial breakdown over the last few weeks as I find myself enjoying such oddities as… florals. Short dresses (but not too short – what?!). Pink. Yellow. Patterns. Vintage.
Vineyard Excursion Dress | $64.99
Because I am still learning the ins and outs of working the eBay and thrift scene, my go-to for vintage-inspired finds has always been ModCloth. One of my favorite shoe shapes for summer is the basic, ankle strap sandal, and ModCloth has tons.
Seychelles Dietrich Heel | $109.99
Recap T-Strap | $107.99
Whole Lot of Sole Heels | $54.99
How stunning, crazy, intense and beautiful are those last shoes? I would love to call any of the above my own, but the last ones are truly world-rocking.
And then, there was this skirt:
Trail of Clouds Skirt | $89.99
I have many shoes. I have many shirts. I even have many pairs of tights, stockings, and other eclectic leg covering apparatuses. Yet, I hardly ever wear skirts. I definitely own them – I’m positive I do – but the sitting-leg-display factor prevents it. I have to walk down a hill or take a bus to go anywhere and while only one of those involves sitting and the potential of skirt-ride-up, they were absolutely both worth mentioning. The skirt above? Zero percent chance of skirt-ride-up. That is something I’m comfortable investing in.
But on the off-chance that I’m feeling dangerous, I would definitely reach for this:
Isy & Peeps Ornithology Outing Skirt | $99.99
Put a bird on it. I’m from the Pacific Northwest, I’ll wear it.

I usually stay far, far away from florals - but lately, I've been grabbing them up like crazy. I like vintage looking florals, with muted colors.
Love these picks! The "Vineyard Excursion" is especially nice. I am so ready for the lightness of spring clothing.
