Uniforms

This winter has been the best winter, sartorially, and also… the laziest.

Since discovering that having a few items that I really love instead of having a ton of items I kinda like, my daily dressing has been utterly easy. I can roll out of bed, and flop onto the floor of clothing in my dresser-less bedroom, and moments later, be wearing precisely that which was under me, and look perfectly passable as a cognizant human. This winter has been heavy on the freelance tip, and rolling/shuffling/reaching-out-and-grabbing-nearest-object-ing is about all I can muster in the morning before getting to work.

That being said, I rely on uniforms. I have several. Most often, though, it’s some kind of recreation of the below:

Thermostat photobomb.

Rolling my pants inward & putting them over the boot is probably not something I’ll do again. I don’t really like how it looks. Thoughts?

Boots, Doc Martens Regina Boots, holiday gift from dude!
Jeans, Fade to Blue via TJ Maxx
Top, GAP Outlet
Cardigan, c/o Jigsaw

Lindsay: Probably watching Netflix.

    • Oh! That's true. I didn't really see that before... I was looking at them for a while last night and decided maybe that cuff wasn't too bad, after all. Looks ... clean! If that makes sense, haha.

  • Hello, new reader here. I found you on Alreay Pretty and am so glad I did.

I have to say, that I love your pants like that. I often wear mine rolled up to show my boots, but I had never thought about rolling them under. I think it looks chic though, like wearing cropped pants with boots, which is look that I personally love.

    • I think I'm warming up to the cuff, Gracey... You're probably right! It looks pretty decent.

Welcome! :D Thank you for reading. <3
