The history of the peter pan collar is clearly a rich and… semi-subversive one! I was originally inspired to dig up said history once I realized that I was seeing collars everywhere. Not just on shirts and jackets, either. The majority of the collars that cross my path are coming by way of neck – in jewelry form. Similar to bib necklaces, but in cute, antiquated, collar shapes. I dig it, I think.

I've totally bought into this trend ...even though I don't own any yet. Haha. I definitely want something studded, something pearly and something plated. Thanks for sharing these with us - they're all lovely!
