Cheaplist: 15 Covetable Kitchen Toys Under $60

Kitchen stuff: it’s my achilles heel. I can’t escape a Le Creuset, Williams-Sonoma or Crate+Barrel unscathed. When I lived in Chicago, there were vintage malls everywhere, along with a CB2 brick & mortar store – both of which tested my willpower on a weekly basis.

I hope to do a whole lot more entertaining in 2013 – especially since I have a new dining room table (as of yesterday) that can seat… twelve people. The possibilities are endless! Really, not having a table was just an excuse not to entertain. You can have a party in just about any space if you approach it with the right outlook!

Post-holidays offer killer sales on just about everything… so naturally I drift directly towards the salt boxes and cake stands. There’s a ton of stuff marked down – treat yourself, and get something to motivate you to make more meals at home this year. (Especially if you have a gift certificate or six…!)

    • I lived in Uptown/Edgewater. The Broadway Antique Mall is one of the biggest vintage shops I've ever been inside of. There are a few in that area, and a couple towards Andersonville, too! If you get off on the Granville stop on the red line and head towards N. Broadway, you'll see it on the right! It's been a few years, but it HAS to still be there!

    • Isn't it cuuuute? I don't know if there's a good reason to have one of those honey-stick-things, but it's too adorable not to! IT'S A LITTLE HIVE COME ON :3
