Closed-toe, strappy wedges are like unicorns. Completely elusive, but so beautiful and full of majesty. Always worth the hunt.
These tall, tall wedges by Steve Madden have the unicorn-esque combination of strappy, closed-toe, wedge, and basic. They’re all leather uppers, too, which means that they will last for a good, long time… But my favorite part of these is how I can wear them with tights and not even worry about whether or not there is a toe seam showing, or a self-mended hole. Closed toe. Bless you.
They are available in black, cognac and tape – all of which look good enough to eat. Or wait, I was going with a unicorn metaphor so good enough to… ride… across a rain…bow?

I really wish that Steve Madden shoes were comfortable to walk even a few feet in. They have too steep of a footbed to make them wearable unless sitting down.
