Lazy Geek Style: Bombsheller Leggings for Super Fans

Today is the first day of New York Comic-Con, and there’s no shortage of awesome outfits going on. Seeing everyone fly their geek flags through elaborate cosplay outfits is my favorite part of comic conventions. The amount of time these people spend on their cosplay outfit ideas and fan costumes is humbling, but what are those of us without sewing skills to do? If you’re bad at being uncomfortable but still want to participate in the dress-up portion of comic-con, you need nerdy Bombsheller leggings.

Bombsheller put together this awesome collection of geek-friendly leggings, but I think they short-changed themselves. Their overall inventory contains so many designs that they have even more nerdy leggings than they thought! I’ve dug through the rest of their leggings to find all of the best con-ready designs.

We’re planning to take the whole B&B crew to Emerald City Comic-Con next March, but I’m struggling when it comes to deciding what to wear. Last time I went to ECCC, I wimped out and just wore normie clothes. I didn’t really look like anything unless maybe my Converse & jeans looked like an off-duty Rose Tyler…?

There are too many good fandoms to participate in! With geeky leggings coming in everything from Game of Thrones to 20-sided dice, how am I supposed to choose?!

This post also doubles as a lazy Halloween costume ideas post because there’s nothing better than answering every “What are you?” by pointing at your legs. I highly recommend the Magical Girl leggings with a Scream-style grim reaper mask. Who says you can’t double-up on costumes?

I don’t know about you, but I belong to quite a few different nerd groups. I obsess over everything from botany to Arrested Development, have equally strong feelings for both Firefly and Stranger Things, and when I’m not shopping clearance sales, I’m playing West of Loathing on Steam. I don’t plan on showing up as a stick figure with a cowboy hat on, though, so Bombsheller leggings (with a sweet Bombsheller discount code: BrokeBombshell) are my next best option.

For those who can’t choose (I may be among you), Bombsheller has some general nerd-pride designs for you rock. The last thing you need is all of your fan communities waging war inside your wardrobe. Whether you’re into too many comic books to represent, or you’ve finally admitted to yourself that you can’t be both The Doctor and a tardis at the same time… here are some general use leggings to rep your nerdiness without compromising your morals.
