ECIG: SPUN Clothing

This is an edition of ECIG that is near and dear to my heart. If you read Awakened Aesthetic or Clutch 22, you’ll likely have seen the name SPUN before. A Seattle-based woman created Spun – a sustainable, organic clothing company with the intention of showing women that organic clothing need not be a “luxury”, but just another part of your day. That’s why she’s created her line of basics and colorful garments to be super affordable.

All above images link to the eco-friendly and brilliant TheGreenLoop.com, an online mecca for sustainable fashion, accessories and gifts – they’re amazing, check them out!

Spun products can also be purchased at Fashion Ethic, Planet Threads, and Seven Planet.

Are you so enjoying this ECIG? Well, good! You can look forward to a new ECIG every day during Earth Week!

xoxo.

  • Thank you so much Miss Elle for taking notice of SPUN! I am honored to be included in your earth day-week posts. I hope that more people realize that organic clothing can be just as fashionable and affordable as conventional clothing. The only difference is the lack of chemicals that make the farmers and the consumers sick. It's also important to note that we donate a portion of annual sales to 1% For the Planet, which helps us contribute to environmental causes. Looking forward to seeing what else you have in store this week! xoxo, Sara :)

  • Yay, this is near and dear to my heart too! Two of my lovely fashion friends - you + Sara!

My personal fav is the boatneck top! Have it in two colors. :)

Sara really nailed it when it comes to bringing style to eco-conscious clothing...on top of that, she's one of the most genuine people I've ever met - which makes you feel even better about supporting her brand. :)

  • I <3 SPUN - especially their cowl neck shirt. I'm so glad you featured them!
