Focusing On: Stone Soup Jewelry

I just discovered the most amazing website, Smashing Darling, as a product of a Twitter friendship and – I have to say – this may be the best site I’ve been introduced to in a long time. It’s claims to be “Leading the Indie Fashion Revolution”, and I totally agree – it’s like Etsy on steroids.

So, as a product of this amazing discovery, I therefore found Stone Soup Jewelry. Phenomenal silver jewelry with a very natural and simple, yet elegant aesthetic.

From the designer’s bio:

Inspired by the classic story, “Stone Soup,” I belive that there is treasure to be found where we least expect it, in the things around us every day.  My simple, clean lines and my designs are often inspired by natural shapes, and my pieces are designed to be versatile and comfortable.  You make your statement, and your jewelry highlights you.

Isn’t that fantastic? That’s everything I look for in a beautiful piece of jewelry. It’s clear from the designer’s bio that they’re truly passionate about their craft, and that makes the pieces that much more special.

Lotus Blossom Earrings

I’ve always loved natural stones – their varied colors, textures and moods. I love to use natural materials in Stone Soup jewelry, because I believe that the most beautiful things in the world are those that we find around us every day.

Shadowed Leaves Bracelet

I’ve been wanting a bracelet like this for months… So classy and sleek – plus it goes with everything.

Orbit Pendant in Sterling Silver

There are few things I love more than a simple silver pendant on a black cord. It makes any casual jeans & tee outfit that much more unique.
