While combing for Daily Deals at Loehmann’s, I came across a series of dresses that made me feel awesome inside.
Maybe it was the perfect shapes or the explosively abstract yet artistic patterns, whatever it was, I liked it a lot. The nice thing about finding this brand at Loehmann’s is that it was already marked down, so not only am I acquiring a new favorite line, but I’m saving about 50% on it.
I can barely find any information about them but philosophy has totally stolen my heart.
I’m pretty sure it’s not Alberta Ferretti’s philosophy (too cheap), and it’s not philosophy, the beauty brand… It’s just philosophy. Mystery brand from Loehmann’s.

The dress above-right was my introduction to this line; something about the color colors uses and the textures applied caught my eye and I had to look for more. Can’t really go wrong with that dress shape, either. The dress above-left is very cool in a different way, but the common theme is that they’re really freaking unique statement dresses. They’re saying different things, but they’re equally amazing.
But it doesn’t stop at dresses.
I fell in love with their separates, too. A little gothy, a little vampy, but a little glammy, too. That’s always a good combination in my house.

I love the a-little-over-dressed-for-everything vibe that these pieces have. They’re loud but not weird or yell-y (you guys know what I mean by “yell-y”, right? Shout-y clothes?). You could easily incorporate any of their pieces into a work wardrobe, an evening wardrobe, and a fancy-shmancy daytime wardrobe.
