It’s been a while since I’ve allowed myself to indulge in any searches containing the keywords “faux leather.” There was a period of time when I was writing about it 2+ times per week here, and exponentially more frequently on social media. It was becoming a problem.
This is my first perforated leather garment, though! Okay, that’s a lie. Also, I’ve decided this perforated collar doesn’t count. But it is my first perforated faux leather skirt post! Pretty good, considering I’ve wanted one for approximately twelve years (lie #2). Additionally, it’s a skater skirt which, when worn, has been scientifically proven to make you smarter and more attractive to yourself. (#3.)
This skirt comes from Jack by BB Dakota, who pretty consistently makes things that I want at prices I can afford, so I have to deliberately make the choice to look at their wares only a few times per month, lest I go bankrupt. Man, I really didn’t want to use “lest” in this post, and I lied a whole bunch of times, but there you go. Another Monday ruined.
