Last week, Wet n Wild dropped a major hint that they’d be releasing a new line of makeup brushes and today, they arrived. The Wet’n’Wild Pro Brush Line is a sleek, chromatic, rose gold set of 10 face and eye brushes available on the Wet n Wild website. Each one is a fluffy or precise head full of cruelty-free, synthetic bristles meant to simulate natural bristles.

If you’re skeptical about a drugstore makeup brush, chances are good that you never tried their original Wet n Wild brush line. You know, the ones with the pink and white bristles? Those brushes… are amazing, and have a permanent place in my favorite Wet N Wild products. Just FYI, you can find the OG brushes at Dollar Tree for $1 each and they’re worth at least five times that price.

Wet n Wild brushes are easily recognizable from the little notch in the handle. It’s the perfect place for a finger to rest and actually makes them a little more comfortable to hold.

Obviously, if you’re a drugstore veteran, you know that the Wet n Wild Pro Line looks an awful lot like the Real Techniques Bold Metals brush collection… But I have a feeling that these are a little more like Bold Plastic, and that’s not a bad thing!

Included in Wet N Wild’s Pro Brush Collection:

Large Powder Brush
$7.99

Blush Brush
$7.99

Precision Foundation Brush
$7.99

Flat Contour Brush
$7.99

Precision Setting Brush
$7.99

Tapered Highlight Brush
$5.99

Fluffy Blending Brush
$5.99

Tapered Blending Brush
$5.99

Precision Flat Face Brush

Dome Pencil Eye Brush

Each brush is either $5.99 or $7.99, which makes this makeup brush collection one of the most affordable. For example, the Real Techniques Bold Metals brushes (which are undoubtedly the most similar) are all over $8 with the most expensive at $19.99.

Right now, it seems like you can only find these brushes on the Wet n Wild website, but I have a feeling they’ll show up in stores sooner or later.

Probably watching Netflix.
