As you probably know, Zendaya is a Disney-alum who is currently serving her time as the star of The Greatest Showman and the world’s new favorite style ingenue. Not only does Zendaya have a unique style (and her own clothing line), but now she has an inclusive fashion collaboration called The Zendaya Edit at ultra-affordable Boohoo.

The curated collection was hand-selected by Zendaya and made available on March 21, 2018. She didn’t design anything but luckily she seems to be able to turn any garment into a look that’s uniquely her own. These pieces, usually from the Boohoo Boutique line, reflect her all-over-the-map preferences from vintage-inspired statement pieces to athleisurely coordinate sets.

The whole collection is incredibly summery, and it’s pretty clear (to no one’s surprise) that every piece of clothing is dripping with vintage inspiration.

If you’ve ever paid (maybe too much) attention to Zendaya’s personal style, you know that vintage inspiration was pretty much inevitable. What wasn’t predictable were the vintage elements that she chose to focus on. We can see everything from the 60s to the 80s represented with a hard, hard focus on bringing back classic, embarrassingly relatable ’90s trends.

Her edited collection is meant for the spring and summer, featuring a ton of crop tops, beachy stripes, ripped up shorts, and shoulder-less tops.

Zendaya Edit Stripe Satin Ruffle Maxi Dress
$53

Zendaya has said that her favorite pieces are a silky striped jacket and a lavender pantsuit.

Zendaya Edit Pastel Longline Blazer
$45

Zendaya Edit Tailored Suit Blazer
$45
Zendaya Edit Tailored Suit Trouser
$35

Some of the standout items for me were the coordinated outfits. It’s kind of impossible not to notice them due to the sheer volume of options. Since it’s perfectly acceptable to rock outfits that are so sporty and matchy that they make crust punks cry, we might as well go for it, right?

Zendaya Edit Sports Stripe Bralette Top

Zendaya Edit Sports Stripe Paper Bag Trouser

Zendaya Edit Stripe Plunge Neck Top

Zendaya Edit Wide Leg Tie Waist Stripe Trousers

Zendaya Edit Pastel Longline Blazer

Zendaya Edit Pastel Stripe Shorts

Zendaya Edit Sports Stripe Co-Ord Set
$30

All jokes aside, there is something kind of punk rock about wearing something so incredibly and boldly… easy. You look at match-matchies like this and part of your brain wants to think “wow, that took literally no effort to coordinate” and the other part of your brain – the one that convinces you to try glitter brows – thinks “THAT IS EFFING GENIUS.

Also punk rock? The size range: 2-22. Many of the loudest statement pieces in The Zendaya Edit are available in the full range of sizes, like the co-ordinate sets and . A handful of pieces are only available in Boohoo’s standard 0-10, and some are available only in plus sizes 12-22.

Zendaya Edit Rip Detail Fray Hem Shorts

Zendaya Edit Sport Stripe Bandeau Top

Zendaya Edit Scallop Edge Denim Culottes

Celebrating all body types is something Boohoo has done well for a long time. Unlike many department store brands that inevitably extend their size range, Boohoo allows plus size gals to flaunt as much as any standard sized clothing would permit. Boohoo has  pretty edgy, body-conscious (an understatement) clothing in general, and is one of the best places to find it if you’re over a size 12.

My favorite pieces are unsurprisingly the twisted basics. The super-loud statement outfits are awesome, of course, but my practicalities steer my directly towards classic garments with an edge. Luckily, alongside the bright stripes and crop tops are plenty of daily-wearable pieces that feel anything but boring.

Zendaya Edit Stripe Trench Coat
$54

Zendaya Edit Distressed Denim Board Shorts
$30

Zendaya Edit Tassle Trim Tie Tee
$18

Zendaya Edit Metallic Trucker Jacket
$62

Overall, the Zendaya Edit is kind of like looking at a slightly updated Delia*s catalog. There are more “sport stripes” than you can shake a stick at, and they even have tear-away pants – and, yes, they are definitely being worn with heels.

Probably watching Netflix.
