Do you love that alliteration? Half of the emergency involved in my writing this post at 12:11am was from sheer excitement over the title.
The other half? Displaying the muted-tones and “well-tailored” feel of Miz Mooz‘s new boot offerings for the fall season (yes, yes, a long ways away, but we couldn’t resist fawning over the copious leather & neutral-toned shoes ASAP). We’re pretty huge fans of Miz Mooz here (Jen’s oxfords, which you all adore, are proudly Miz Mooz). (I’m using a lot of parentheses.) (I’m okay with this.)
It will surprise approximately no one [who has read this blog for any extended period of time] that the last boots are my favorite. Jen hasn’t seen these yet, but my guess is that she’ll love the heeled saddle shoes most. She is an oxford princess.
The rest – I don’t really care for them so much – do you? I’m just a little bored with the lattice look and the lace-up things. I had a pair of shoes like that in high school (that was *ahem* a long time ago). Well, they weren’t mine, they were my little sister’s (sorry, Aleah), but they definitely helped me ride the line between “grunge” and “goth” without going too far into either. I feel a little weird about laces AND a t-strap, though. It’s like when Fergie came out with her shoe offerings a couple years ago and attempted to shove 15.932 trends into one shoe, and instead made a complete disaster.
Thoughts on the boots?
