Classic tailoring, a dusty color palette, and a whole lot of mystery to be had at The Row’s presentation.
While I didn’t love all of it… Some looks were quite captivating. It was all about classic glamour – perfect tailoring included.
The coats were absolutely wonderful! I have a soft spot for leopard dusters, as I thoroughly rocked one from 7th grade to college. The dusty lavender dress (WITH POCKETS.) looked smooth enough to sail on, and while the belts were very complimentary, they reminded me of the things I didn’t like from Marni a few seasons back (see also: the 80s 1″ sandals with too-thick straps). The lace overlays, the leather detailing, and FUR EVERYWHERE were delicious and delectable.
…And then there were poufy shoulders, unbelievably large furs, and… Well, those hats. Davy Crockett meets Zsa Zsa Gabor.
