I’m already taking full advantage of H&M’s new online capacity and taking daily opportunities to revel in the loads of sweaters and boots that fill my screen every time I stop by. I have a lot of time to make up for – Seattle only got an H&M in the last 5 years or so!
I have always enjoyed the shape of skater skirts because I feel like they’re comfortable, flattering and versatile enough for anyone to wear. Leather is a classic fabric that likely won’t be making an exit from relevance any time soon, and imitation leather is even better because, you know, not animals. (Environment is a little less happy, but also Environment likes animals, so it’s a toss-up.)
I fell in love with this one at H&M. It’s the right shape, it’s minimalist enough to be as versatile as I want it to be, and it’s nice & high-waisted, which is the most flattering place for an A-line skirt to sit, if you ask me!
Plus, if you’re uncomfortable but intrigued about the idea of a leather skirt, the price of $24.95 won’t make it a decision for which rent payments needs to be taken into consideration.
Not sure what to wear with it? Maybe consider a white graphic t -shirt? Just sayin’…
